Hi, I'm Jill.
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in San Francisco. I meet with clients online, so if you are located anywhere in California, we can work together.
I can help you with the hard stuff.
I deeply believe that you are the expert on your own life, even if you’re in a place right now where you may have forgotten this. I'm direct and compassionate. I don't simply smile and nod, I engage in robust exploration. I lead with curiosity. You'll hear me say more than once "let's get under the hood on this..." I provide new ways of looking at old stuff. I use our relationship, the one we build together in a trusting way, as a tool for change and to help you reconnect to yourself.
Working from an integrative perspective, I combine elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Therapies. As a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator, I also use curriculum developed by Dr. Brené Brown to help you explore courage, worthiness, vulnerability and shame in order to live a more whole-hearted life.
