How often will we meet?

Sessions are typically scheduled on a weekly basis, especially when we start. Since our work is highly collaborative, we will work together to adjust session frequency as you make progress.

Do you accept insurance?

Currently, I do not accept insurance. However, some insurance providers may reimburse you if you go outside your network. Check with your provider. If you have an out-of-network benefit, I'm happy to provide you with an invoice to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You can also use a health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA) to pay for therapy.

Under the California “No Surprises Act,” health care providers are required to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
